Whitehouse = Tranquility

I didn’t get to stay at Sandals Whitehouse during my recent trip to Jamaica, but I did have the pleasure of taking a walking tour of this vast resort. Whether you’re looking for your next vacation spot, or just like seeing what’s out there, take a peek at this beautiful piece of paradise. 360 rooms and suites are in three European Villages, along with the Central Piazza, on 50 lush acres within a 500 acre wilderness preserve on Jamaica’s south coast. Every room and suite at this resort faces the 2 mile, white sand beach. EVERY ROOM IS BEACHFRONT!!

We were told that Whitehouse is all about tranquility, and that was evident during our tour. The grounds – buildings, gardens, pools, fire pits – feel elegant yet comfortable. The resort is very spacious, so you could easily find a private space in the public areas. And yet, there’s plenty of adventure to be found, with all the land and water sports Sandals is famous for. This resort boast’s 4 pools and whirlpools, including Jamaica’s largest pool, 8 a-la-carte dining venues, 6 bars and a conference center. Who wouldn’t love a day’s work at this gorgeous resort?

While I couldn’t photograph the soon to be completed Italian village while it’s undergoing refurbishments, we did see them and they are -WOW! Rooms and suites in the French and Dutch villages are in a more traditional style, as shown in the photographs. The italian village will sport a more modern style, still elegant and refined.
